Arrested Nigerian Afro pop singer, Seun Kuti, has been granted bail by the Chief Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos State, on Tuesday.
Veritynewsonline had reported that the Police prosecutor, S. A. Adebese, had prayed that the court remand the defendant for 21 days.
But Femi Falana SAN opposed the application on the ground that his client wasn’t briefed on any remand process.
The court also ordered the police to finish their investigation within the next 48-hours, and that Kuti is meant to be in their custody within the stipulated period.
