Ikechukwu Nwafor, an appointee of Ebonyi state governor Dave Umahi on Sunday llegedly shot and killed two persons in Oriuzo, Ezza North local government area of Ebonyi state over political arguement.
One Shedrak Nwode from Umuezoka, alongside a girl said to be his girlfriend was allegedly shot dead by the Nwafor who is the Coordinator of Ezza North East development centre,
Veritynewsnoline gathered that the said trouble started when Nwode arrived at Oriuzo where a serving councilor from Ezza North was hosting thanksgiving and the people were shouting APC, APC (All Progressive Congress) and he quickly said that he is not of APC but of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The coordinator shunned him, and threatened him to behave himself or he will be killed.
All efforts to reach the coordinator, the alleged killer of Chinedu Nwode proved abortive as available information revealed that he has been apprehended, and handed over to the police.
When contacted via phone, the police spokesperson, DSP Loveth Odah, said the command was yet to receive formal complain on the case.
