The immediate past Senior Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun on Vocational and Technical Education, Prof Joseph Odemuyiwa, is dead.
Odemuyiwa, a Professor of Business Education with a passion for training people in vocational skills, reportedly died on Tuesday in an accident on his way to Ibadan.
The Remo North State constituency’s representative, Dickson Awolaja, verified the information to our correspondent.
Awolaja, a native of Isara Remo, the same hometown as the late professor, stated, “I received confirmation from a friend recently. Prof was reportedly en route to Ibadan when the accident occurred. It’s a tragic loss.”
Aged 66, Odemuyiwa previously served as a lecturer at Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ago Iwoye and Tai Solarin University of Education in Ijagun, both state-owned institutions.
