A young man in FHA, Lugbe, last week won the sum of N163 million after staking N1800 on five Bet9ja tickets to win N163 million naira .
According to Ojo, the manager of Bet9ja, FHA Lugbe branch, the man staked 500# each for 2 games , 300# each for 2 games while he staked another 200# for another ticket to win 48 and 49 million naira respectively for the 500# tickets.
The tickets won him N49 million, N48million as well as additional N49 N while he also also cashed out another 7.8million each for 2 tickets while another ticket also won, totaling the sum of 163 million
The manager said that after the win, some boys around Total fuel station, the area where the bet shop is located, who are also fellow gamblers stormed the shop to demand that they be settled
The young man from Edo state eventually bowed to their pressure and dropped the sum of N800.000 be shared among the boys after allegedly dropping another some money for the police
Ojo said that the win is the largest cash out they ever made to any customer since the establishment of the bet shop.
However, efforts to reach the man for comment proved abortive as he is said to be avoiding publicity for security reasons.
