Nigeria Air is set to embark on a voyage to Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja, as reported by Daily Trust.

Currently stationed in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the aircraft is making final preparations for its trip to Nigeria’s capital city.

According to Daily Trust, a plane sporting the distinctive colors of Nigeria Air is expected to arrive in the country from Ethiopian Airlines.

The airline’s ability to commence operations or conduct demonstration flights, which are essential for obtaining the Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC), remains uncertain.

Concerns have arisen within the industry regarding alleged attempts by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to waive certain requirements, facilitating the airline’s launch.

Additionally, the perpetual injunction order against the airline, resulting from a lawsuit filed by the Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON), is still in effect. Furthermore, the substantive motion challenging the airline’s shareholding structure has yet to be heard and resolved.
