Longest-serving Director Public Affiars in Yobe state Abdullahi Bego has assumed office as Commissioner of Home Affairs, Information and Culture with a resolve to project the administration of Governor Mai Mala Buni the more.
Bego, had worked with late Governor Mamman Ali, Senator Ibrahim Geidam and
Governor Mai Mala Buni as spoeksman.
While assuming office, Bego promised to revitalise the ministry, Yobe State Television (YTV), Yobe Broadcasting Corporation, Yobe Printing Press, among other parastatals under the ministry,
Bego called for cooperation among the staff, saying he belongs to all regardless of where anyone hails from.
According to him, “What matters most to me is result. My task is to make sure the administration of governor Mai Mala Buni succeeds.”
