Man United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has quashed the prospect of Zlatan Ibrahimovic returning to Manchester United.
Ibrahimovic appeared to open the door to a switch back to Old Trafford when his LA Galaxy contract expires at the end of the year.
But Solskjaer does not expect the 37-year-old to ply his trade in the Premier League again.
‘I don’t think that’ll happen,’ the United boss said. ‘He’s had his time at the club. He’s had a fantastic career.
‘If he was 28 and not 38 next month – there’s a big difference. He’s had a great time here and he’s still doing well.
‘It’s unfortunate he got his injury when he did here. He knows my number. He never rented my house but he was looking at it. If he’s serious I’ll always speak to Zlatan.’
