Torrential rain on Thursday morning  destroyed property worth several millions of naira in Ngelzarma community of Fune Local Government Area of Yobe state.

According to reports, there was no loss of life but many residents of the community have been sacked from their homes.

It was also gathered Yobe State Deputy Governor, Idi Barde Gubana, and the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) are mobilising resources to ameliorate the plight of those affected by the disaster. 

It would be recalled that over 300 houses were affected by flood in Ngalda community Fika in Local Government Area of the state last week.
