Tonto Dikeh, Ex-Husband Churchill Make Peace Again After Years of Feud

Nollywood actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh has announced that she has made peace with her former husband, Olakunle “Churchill” Oladunni, bringing an end to nearly a decade of acrimony marked by public disputes and legal battles.

The actress disclosed the development in a personal message shared on her social media platforms, where she described the reconciliation as a turning point shaped by faith, forgiveness, and spiritual renewal.

According to Dikeh, years of hostility, broken communication, and emotional pain have given way to calm and mutual respect, a change she attributed to divine intervention rather than personal effort.

She explained that sustained prayers, humility, and obedience to God played a key role in healing what once appeared irreparably damaged, noting that the process required deep internal transformation rather than arguments or negotiations.

Dikeh also acknowledged Churchill’s role in the renewed understanding, thanking him for embracing peace and prioritising what she described as a higher purpose, particularly in their shared responsibility as parents.

Central to the reconciliation, she said, is their son, King Andre Churchill, whose welfare now serves as a unifying focus for both parents after years of disagreement over custody and care.

Describing the reconciliation as rooted in genuine forgiveness, the actress emphasised that the renewed relationship is built on respect, humility, and a commitment to co-parenting in a healthier environment.

Beyond sharing her personal experience, Dikeh extended words of encouragement to others dealing with prolonged conflicts, urging them not to lose hope and to believe that difficult situations can still be redeemed.

She concluded her message with a prayer, expressing hope that the restored relationship will remain guided by grace, mercy, and divine protection, and describing the reconciliation as a living testimony of faith.

Tonto Dikeh and Olakunle Churchill were married in 2015 in a widely publicised ceremony, but their marriage collapsed less than two years later amid intense media attention, mutual accusations, and lengthy legal confrontations.

Their separation became one of the most talked-about celebrity breakups in Nigeria, with disputes frequently playing out in public and on social media.

The unexpected reconciliation comes amid reports of Dikeh’s renewed commitment to her Christian faith, a journey she has openly referenced in recent months.
