Honourable James Abiodun Faleke has denied reports alleging that the Presidency instructed former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello and incumbent Governor Usman Ododo to uphold a supposed one-term agreement involving him.
In a statement shared on his official Facebook page, Faleke described the report published by online platform TrackNews as false and misleading. He said he was never involved in, consulted on, or aware of any discussion or agreement relating to a one-term arrangement in Kogi State.
The lawmaker explained that the publication triggered a wave of calls and messages seeking clarification, prompting him to set the record straight.
According to him, the story is entirely fabricated and has no factual foundation.
Faleke urged the public to disregard the report, stressing that he has no connection whatsoever to any alleged political deal in Kogi State.
