Trevor Smith Jr., the popular American hip-hop legend, popularly known as Busta Rhymes, has hinted at plans to relocate to Nigeria and marry a Nigerian woman.

The 53-year-old rapper made the remarks midway into his performance at the Detty December Fest in Lagos over the weekend.

He explained that he plans to relocate to Nigeria after he retires and builds a family.

Busta Rhymes noted that his trip to Nigeria was “special,” stressing that it took him 15 years.

“I’m looking for a home here, I’m looking for property. I’m thinking about looking for a wife so that when I stop working, I can settle down here,” he added.

The rapper is not married and has never been married. However, he is a father of six children with four different women.
