Health Reforms: Muslim World League Supports Kaduna State on Cardiac Care

Kaduna State Governor senator Uba Sani has recieved a delegation from the Muslim World League to discuss the organization’s health interventions in the state particularly in the areas of cardiac care and open-heart surgeries.

The Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe represented the governor the Deputy Governor’s office in Kaduna.

The deputy governor expressed delight towards the Muslim World League’s health interventions in Kaduna State, and thanked the organization for its support, saying its cardiac interventions represent hope for people not just in Kaduna State but across the Northwest and Nigeria at large.

She reiterated that the state government, under Senator Uba Sani’s leadership, is focused on health, education, and rural development, which are all essential to human capital development. She said “the government has renovated primary and secondary healthcare facilities in the state to strengthen health provision in Kaduna.”

Speaking earlier, Abdurrahaman Alaryani, the Director of the Health Department of the Muslim World League, who led the delegation to Kaduna stated that the team was in Kaduna to monitor the construction of a cardiology center.

The Director of the Health Department of the Muslim World League Muslim World League said the organization provides support in various fields, including healthcare, water provision, and housing for widows.

He also said that the organization has undertaken health services and open-heart surgeries in several states, including Sokoto, Nassarawa, and Kano. The delegation was in Kaduna to monitor the construction of a cardiology center.

The Deputy Governor appreciated the organization’s support, while the organization’s delegation thanked the state government for its cooperation and support of the World Muslim League in its work in Kaduna State.
