It was reported that a confrontation occurred in Ibrahim Chatta’s village when Omotayo confronted Funke Akindele, accusing her of having an affair with Femi, leading to property damage at a hotel, which Femi later compensated for.
Following their return to Lagos, tensions escalated, with Omotayo threatening to undermine Femi’s Netflix contract and disparage Funke Akindele, prompting Femi to leave their home and secure an apartment in the Island area.
Gistlover also mentioned that Omotayo survived a serious car accident, which led her in-laws to refrain from intervening in her marital issues.
Additionally, Omotayo has claimed she is expecting a child and has vowed to remain in her husband’s residence. The situation further deteriorated when Femi’s brother found a calabash, suggesting the involvement of spiritual practices within their household.
