A crucial meeting scheduled by the National Executive Council (NEC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is ongoing.
At the meeting, former governor of Kano state, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is expected to be announce at the meeting as replacement for the former National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu and Senator Omisore.
In attendance at the meeting include President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, APC governors, NWC members among others.
In the agenda is to appoint an external auditor to audit the Senator Abdullahi Adamu-led NWC, replacement of the vacant positions.
