Super Eagle and Everton FC midfielder Alex Iwobi has said he will like to play in the UEFA Champions League again.
The skilful midfielder played in the prestigious club football during his days with Arsenal before moving to Goodison Park in 2019.
Iwobi’s last game for the Gunners was the UEFA Europa League final against Chelsea in which they lost 3-1 and he scored Arsenal’s only goal.
“I feel like I have a lot to prove with my football and I would like to play in the Champions League.
It has always been my dream. I’ve played it before and I want to taste it again,” he said.
Iwobi was one of the top performers for the Toffees in the just-concluded season and it remained certain that the club will not entertain suitors who vie for his services.
