
The immediate expulsion of the chairmen, board members, and chief executives of numerous parastatals in Jigawa State has been announced by Governor Umar Namadi.
The decision was made official in a statement released by the Permanent Secretary, of Administration, and Finance, in the office of the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Muhammad Dagaceri.
According to the Tuesday statement, Governor Namadi approved the relief of appointments for managing directors, general managers, executive secretaries, directors general, chairmen, and members of the board of agencies/parastatals, with the exception of commissions.
However, the directive specifically excluded career executive secretaries, managing directors, directors general, and general managers.
The statement read, “Accordingly, this excludes career Managing Directors, General Managers, Directors, and Executive Secretaries.”
It further instructed all the affected officials to hand over any government properties in their possession to the most senior officer within their respective organizations.
In expressing his gratitude for their contributions, Governor Namadi wished the relieved officials success in their future endeavors.
