Nigerian singer, Rema has revealed his plans for school in a recent interview which surfaced online.
In the interview with Countdown, an Internet radio platform located in US and UK, Rema revealed that he gained admission in 2022. However, a strike preceded it, making him weigh his options.
The singer noted that after the one-month strike, he decided he would be calling off school to pursue his music career; therefore, there are no plans of going to the university.
The interviewer quizzed him about his mother’s reaction to it. Rema revealed that his mum has come to terms with his decision to focus on music fully.

Cristiano Ronaldo took many by surprise as he shared a video of three of his kids dancing to Rema’s song, Calm Down.
The record-breaking footballer shared the video via his Instagram story with his 555 million followers.
Neymar had also taken to his social media page to share a video of him vibing to the singer’s song as he revealed that he was still recovering.

Fast-rising Nigerian female singer Ayra Starr opened up on her relationship with Rema.
The two top singers, who are signed to Don Jazzy‘s Mavins records, have repeatedly stirred rumours of a brewing relationship.
In a new interview with Kenyan Radio station Kiss 100.3, Ayra Starr shut down the reports.
As she is fondly known, the Celestial being described as Rema as her brother in Christ.
“I haven’t heard the rumour. Noooo. That’s my brother in Christ”, she said.
