Weightlifter Laidi Taiwo has won Nigeria’s 5th medal at the ongoing 2022 Commonwealth Games in the Women’s 76Kg, after a total lift of 216kg in snatch and clean & jerk weightlifting category.
Nigeria had won four medals in same sport including two gold and bronze apiece since the competition started.
