“He is a big GOAT” Comedian Ay Makun salutes Burna Boy over his imprint on African music

Award-winning comedian, actor, and producer, Ayo Makun has heaped praises on Grammy award-winning singer, Burna Boy over his new achievement.

Burna Boy had broken a new record in Atlanta.

The singer who keeps making history and keeps making Nigerians proud added a new feat to his several achievements in Atlanta over the weekend.

Burna Boy had given many American artists a run for their money as he sold out a 21,000 capacity at State Farm Arena.

With his new achievement, Burna Boy becomes the first African artiste to sell out all his shows in America.

Taking to Twitter, Ay eulogized the singer for making Nigerians proud.

Ay who was at the concert noted how proud he was to be a Nigerian watching him perform.

Ayo Makun hailed the singer for being the greatest of all times G.O.A.T in all levels of musical culture.

“Las las beyond breakfast @burnaboy is a big GOAT for lunch and dinner on every levels of musical culture. I was so proud to be a Nigerian tonight in Atlanta”.

Burna Boy had recorded several achievements this year.

Weeks back, Bose Ogulu, the mother and manager of the Grammy award-winning singer, was a proud mother as her son became the African first artiste to perform at the Billboard Music Awards.

The Billboard Music Awards held on Sunday, May 15, and had in attendance Burna Boy and his mother. The singer took to the stage to perform his several hit songs and became the first African artist to achieve such a feat.

Bose Ogulu took to her Instagram page to applaud her son for the record-breaking achievement. Bose went on to list the many records her son had broken.

According to her, Burna Boy was the first African artiste to not only perform at Billboard but also Grammys, BET Hip-hop awards, and Brits.

“A lot of firsts this week @burnaboygram became the first African artist to perform at the BBMA’s, Grammy’s, BET Hip-hop Awards and Brits…. Also, our First trip to Vegas!”.

He was also the first Nigerian to ever sell out Madison Square Garden, New York.

The singer proudly sold out his ‘One Night In Space’ concert which successfully took place on Thursday at the O2 Arena Paris’ Accor Arena, Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome.

Burna Boy was also the first-ever African artiste to hit 200 million streams on music streaming platform, Boomplay.
