After emerging as the winner of Nigerian Idol Season 7, Progress Chukwuyem has promised to shun out great music for his teeming fans.
Last night the grand finale of the Nigerian Idol Season 7 edition took place which saw Progress emerging as the winner after defeating top 12 contestants who sang to the admiration of the audience on live shows to earn fan votes.
Out of the twelve, 10 where sent out of the show leaving Progress and Zadok who emerged as the final two.
Progress Chukwuyem finally emerged as the ultimate winner of the competition after garnering the highest vote of the season.
His win was announced by the show’s host, IK Osakioduwa, with Obi Asika, D’banj and Simi, as judges for the show.
Progress went home with a mouth watering cash prize of N30m, a brand new SUV, a recording deal and other prizes.
Appreciating everyone who voted for him, Progress in a video after the show told his fans to expect great music and great performances from him.
“I just won Nigeria Idol because of you, I am so grateful…expect great music, great performances, I will keep progressing for you, I love you”. He said.
Recalled that Adekunle Gold declared himself a shameless lover man, days after a surprise to his wife Simi at the Nigerian Idol show.
Adekunle Gold got his wife, Simi teary-eyed on Sunday 24th April when he surprisingly showed up on the ongoing Nigerian reality tv show stage with a birthday cake.
Simi who was one of the judges of the show was beyond surprised when she saw him walk onto the stage and towards her.
On getting to her, he presented the cake and said “I am your biggest fan. I am proud of you, well done, Deja and I am rooting for you and we love you, I love you”.
Barely a few days, Adekunle Gold took to his Instagram page to share a photo of himself chilling in a swimming pool.
