On Tuesday, social media was flooded with the latest scandal of 2022: Gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, confessed to cheating on his wife of 11 years.
The lady, in question, is simply identified as ‘African Doll’.
She came out in an interview on YouTube to give details of how they hooked up and spent time together. African Doll also confirmed she was pregnant.
According to Okposo, “On my recent trip to the USA (Late 2021), I got intimately involved with a lady, knowing that this was not appropriate as a married man and a minister of the gospel.
“I am ashamed and regret my actions as it has caused a lot of pain to my dear wife, Ozioma, my family and I.”
In the past, Okposo has been romantically linked with more famous women.

- There is evidence for this – they have a daughter, Alula, together. Although she was older than the artiste, they enjoyed something special. Gloria is officially the first woman that got pregnant for Sammie before African Doll.
- Kate Henshaw
- Okposo was also involved with Kate Henshaw from way back. However, it is rumoured that it was not entirely a rosy one, as there was physical abuse and violence between them. This eventually led to their break up.
- Stella Damascus
- The relationship between Stella and Sammie led a lot of observers to believe they would get married. Some even claim Stella and Kate fell out when they realized they were dating the same man.
