Police, lawyers and other security operatives were on guard even before the trial of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra commenced on Tuesday, .
Kanu arrived at the court by 7 am amidst tight security as operatives of the Department of State Services frisk journalists and lawyers.
As of the time of filing this report, the court was yet to commence sitting.
