It has since been confirmed that the plane was a small plane, with the pilot and one passenger on board.

After reporting engine problems, both were forced to maneuver the plane into the ocean.

The pilot and passenger were able to get out of the plane and go to the coast, which was 20 meters away.

The first reaction to the incident included multiple ground police units, Water Police (vessel) and Police Air Wing.
