The 2021 UTME began today (June 19) with relative success except that candidates at Government Secondary School, Garki were unable to write the examination.
What started as a technical hitch during the first batch of the exams in the morning lingered on till about 3.o’clock when candidates began to disperse.
Most of the students expressed frustration because of their inability to write the examination.
At the time our visit ( Professor Chinwe Obaji, former Minister of Education and I, the angry students clustered around us demanding for solutions.
The former Minster got clearance from the head office to address the candidates as well as being informed that situation will be attended to as a new arrangement will be made for them in due course.
