A popular scholar and politician, Usman Bugaje, has been allegedly arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) for allegedly criticising President Muhammadu Buhari over the current insecurity situation of the country.
Bugaje as gathered was arrested by the DSS operatives for criticizing President Buhari’s handling of insecurity across the country after featuring on AIT.
According to Peoples Gazette, Bugaje was arrested by the DSS on Wednesday and currently in their custody as at the time of filling this report.
Recall that the politician added his voice to growing concerns amongst Nigerians about insecurity.
He had previously condemned Buhari’s failure to tackle the economy, as well as his sectional appointments.
DSS authorities are yet to react to the latest development.
