President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with His Royal Majesty Dr Daniel Ismaila Shaga on his emergence as the new Hama Bachama.
The president also saluted the kingmakers of Bachama Kingdom and the Adamawa State Government for the wise choice of Dr Shaga, considering the outstanding experience and qualifications of the eminent accountant.The president said following the retirement of Dr Shaga as Assistant Commander-General of Narcotics (ACGN) from the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in 1994, he devoted his time and energy not only to private practice as a professional accounting, tax and management consultant, but more remarkably, evangelism, community service and humanitarian endeavours.
While urging the new monarch to build on the worthy legacies of peace, unity and development of his predecessor, the president recommends Dr Shaga’s commitment to excellence, probity and accountability to people of his domain in particular and all Nigerians in general.
As the prolific writer is enthroned as the 29th Hama Bachama, the president wished him a successful reign and divine protection.
Also in his congratulatory message, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha said he was “received with delight the news of your official coronation and presentation of First- I Class Staff of Office and wish to congratulate Your Royal Majesty on this well-deserved appointment as the 29th Hama Bachama. You have ascended the throne with an unassailable royal pedigree of your illustrious forebears and Your Royal Majesty comes to the exalted seat with outstanding professional and academic credentialsI have no doubt in my mind that your appointment to this esteemed position is ordained by the Almighty God it is my sincere prayer that your reign will be long and be for the good of all Nigerians, particularly in serving as a vessel through which the much needed socio-economic upliftment, natural understanding and peaceful co-existence amongst Nigerians within and beyond the Bachama Kingdom will be sustained
“Given your vast experience in the private and public service, I am quite convinced that Your Royal Majesty is equally well positioned to not only consolidate on the sold legacy bequeathed by your predecessor but the Bachama Kingdom under your leadership would witness phenomenal socio-cultural regeneration and economic prosperity
