NAN reports the fire outbreak happened barely one week the state recorded an explosion at Soba, Abule Ado, within the same FESTAC vicinity on March 15.

Although Dosumu said there was no casualty he, however, said  that residents needed to be more careful in the handling of household items to prevent fire outbreaks.

He said that from the service’s preliminary finding, the cause of the fire outbreak could be traced to careless handling of combustible household item.

“Combustible household items are items that can easily go up in flames,” he said.

Dosumu said that preliminary investigations conducted by the service traced the combustible item  to generator or electronics.

“The LSFS final investigation will reveal the final fact  of  the household item that  actually led to the fire outbreak,” he said.
