After months of running battle, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano has dethroned Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as Emir of Kano.
In a letter to that effect signed by the Secretary to the state government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji, the emir was removed for being “disrespectful to lawful instructions”.
