ICPC Names Temilade Okesanjo as Resident Consultant for Strategy, Communications
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has appointed Mrs. Temilade Aderemi Okesanjo as its Resident Consultant for Strategy and Communications. The appointment takes effect immediately and is aimed at improving the Commission’s operations, public engagement, and overall effectiveness.
According to the ICPC, this is the first time that strategy has been formally included in a Resident Consultant role. The move is part of efforts to strengthen the Commission’s preventive measures, governance systems, and institutional integrity.
Mrs. Okesanjo brings over 16 years of experience across public and private sectors. She started her career in banking with Ecobank Nigeria before joining public service at the Federal Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. In 2018, she left civil service to launch Woodford Consulting Company, providing strategy and implementation advice for high-level projects.
In her new role, Mrs. Okesanjo will focus on two main areas: strategy and communications. On the strategy side, she will help ensure ICPC’s initiatives and interventions align with its mandate. On the communications side, she will work to clearly share the Commission’s goals and actions with the public, aiming to build confidence and trust.
The ICPC noted that Mrs. Okesanjo has advised senior government officials, federal agencies, and international organizations on policy implementation, institutional reform, and public-sector governance.
The appointment is part of ICPC’s broader plan to integrate strategic thinking into its work, improve internal coordination, strengthen preventive measures, and ensure its actions have measurable, lasting impact.
The announcement was made by the Commission’s spokesperson, J. Okor Odey.
