The United States of America has launched a deadly strike against ISIS terrorists in north-west Nigeria, Sokoto State. The powerful strike was launched on Wednesday in Sokoto State, targeting terrorists who have been killing innocent Christians.

The President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, posted on his Facebook timeline that the strike was conducted at his direction as Commander-in-Chief of the United States.

“Tonight, at my direction as Commander-in-Chief, the United States launched a powerful and deadly strike against ISIS terrorist scum in north-west Nigeria, who have been targeting and viciously killing, primarily, innocent Christians, at levels not seen for many years,” he said.

He added that the Department of War executed numerous strikes, saying the United States would not allow radical Islamic terrorism to prosper.

However, residents of Garin Jabo in Tambuwal Local Government Area of Sokoto State confirmed hearing loud explosions, forcing many people to seek shelter in the neighbourhood for their safety.

As of the time of filing this report, there is no official confirmation of casualties from the attack or the number of terrorists killed in the strike.
