Pharm Onimisi Adeiza Urges Youths to Embrace Digital Skills, Shun Violence at Empowerment Program

At a youth empowerment program organized by Hon. Abdulhameed Salawu Ogembe, the President of the Advocacy for Youths Development Foundation, Pharm. Onimisi Adeiza Joseph, delivered a stirring keynote address calling on Nigerian youths to embrace unity, digital skills, and peaceful engagement as catalysts for national development.

Addressing a gathering of youth groups, traditional leaders, community representatives, and members of the press, Pharm Onimisi expressed gratitude to the organizer, Hon. Ogembe, for his “tireless efforts in empowering youths,” describing the event as timely and crucial for the country’s future.

He also commended the Federal Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu** for its commitment to building “a peaceful and prosperous Nigeria,” and praised the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for prioritizing security and demonstrating “people-oriented leadership.”

Speaking on the theme of youth development, Pharm Adeiza stressed that national security must be seen as a collective responsibility.

He encouraged youths to position themselves for leadership by acquiring digital and vocational skills, exploring innovation, and taking advantage of emerging opportunities.“You could be the president of this great nation tomorrow,” he told the audience, urging them to prepare for future leadership by learning the workings of politics and actively contributing to national progress.

Pharm Adeiza strongly condemned political thuggery, drug abuse, and divisive sentiments, describing them as major threats to community peace and national unity.

He called on youths to reject any actions that undermine security and instead promote harmony, patriotism, and development.

As the event concluded, he expressed appreciation to participants and extended his wishes for a peaceful and prosperous Eku’echi Festival, reiterating his hope for a better future shaped by empowered and responsible youths.
