Former Minister of Power, Liyel Imoke has observed that the pervasive insecurity in the country is partly caused by poverty.
He made this remarks when he served as a keynote speaker at the ongoing 8th Annual Conference of the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) holding in Lokoja, Kogi state capital.
He compared the unemployment rate of youth at over 6% as at 1998 to today’s rate of almost 40%.
