The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has warned that it would stage a fresh strike should the fuel price goes up again.
The Labour union on Monday vowed to proceed with a total, comprehensive and indefinite nationwide shutdown of the country over any attempt to increase the petrol price from the existing N617.
NLC President, Joe Ajaero, during the African Trade Union alliance meeting in Abuja, also described the incessant increase in fuel hike as “illegal”.
