Master Great David Anyikamba a pupil of Ambassador Primary School, Kubwa has emerged winner of the Berger Camp Spelling Bee Competition which took place on the 22nd of July, 2023 at Berger Camp, Kubwa, FCT, Abuja.
The competition organized by award winning writer, Mr Godwin Cornelius Udagbor in partnership with ICA & SONS BOOKS RESOURCES is organized to give students living in Berger Camp a sense of hard work and sense of responsibility as well as healthy competition in excellence.
In his opening remark, the chief executive officer of ICA & SONS BOOKS, Mr Godwin Cornelius Udagbor remarked that no nation can succeed in this 21st century without a proper education of her citizens.
He further buttressed, that the essence of the competition is to give students living in Berger Camp a sense of hard work, sense of responsibility and that of healthy competition towards attaining academic excellence.
The competition which had 56 participants drawn from 28 schools was first of its kind in Berger Camp Kubwa, FCT Abuja.
At the end, Master Great David Anyikamba a pupil of Ambassador Primary School came first, winning a bicycle, while Musa Rukiya of Junior Secondary School, Kubwa came second and was gifted four text books while Master Esumobi came third place.
The competition climaxed with award giving ceremony to about 30 eminent Nigerians who were conferred with different honours by ICA & SONS BOOKS RESOURCES.
