A Magistrate Court in Ibadan has ruled to detain popular skit maker, Abdullahi Maruff Adisa, widely known as Trinityguy, on charges of sexually objectifying a minor in one of his viral skit videos.
During the court session, the defendant’s legal representative, Olúdáre Adebayo, appealed to the magistrate for bail on behalf of his client, who was brought before the court by the police.
The court also ordered the remand of the parents of the young girl featured in the video until the next scheduled hearing.
