The Kogi Central Senator Elect, Engr. Abubakar Ohere has felicitated with Kogi State Coordinator of AGRO-Climatic Resilience in Semi-arid Landscapes (ACRESAL) Project, Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto OON on her conferment of the national prestigious honour of “Officer of the Order of the Niger” (OON) by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Engr. Ohere in his congratulatory message said the national honours are eloquent testimonies to the fact that the two Kogi politicians have contributed in no small measure to raise the bar of effective leadership and representation. ”I’m proud of the duo of Gov. Yahaya Bello CON and Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto OON by their outstanding consistency in leaving a footprint of honour in the various capacities they are currently serving the country.
“The conferment of national honour on the duo of Gov. Bello and Barr. Ladi did not come to me as a surprise.
“They have both demonstrated fineness in administrative dexterity and leadership acumen, raising the bar of democratic culture by ensuring effective service to all Nigerians. They have used the instrumentality of closeness to the government to affect the lives of our people through massive infrastructure, people-focused policies that serve the good of all Nigerians.
“l congratulate them and urge them to continue being good ambassadors of our dear state. What this indicates is the fact that Governor Yahaya Bello CON is indeed a breeder of great men and women. Barr. Ladi have a line in the leadership mentorship of Gov. Bello and we are proud of them.
“It is my hope that our nation will reap more from their wealth of experience when the incoming president His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is established May 29 2023.
