The National Universities Commission (NUC) has directed all universities to remain closed till March 20. The same directive was approved for the
National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) directives and Polytechnics / Colleges of Education in Nigeria.
The directive came from the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu who in a press said the postponement of resumption was due to change of date of the upcoming Governorship and State Assembly Elections in the country.
