The Court of Appeal in Kano on Friday, sacked the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mohammed Abacha, in Kano State.
The court subsequently ordered that Sadiq Wali, who was earlier recognised by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as the PDP gubernatorial candidate in the State, be restored as the party’s standard bearer for the elections.
The judgement is coming two weeks to the Presidential election in Nigeria.
