Delta state Police command, Monday, paraded two murder suspects, Chukwudi Sunday and Onyebuchi Paul, for killing man and raping his wife to death.
The murderers strangled woman and raped her while she was dying in Amai community, Ndokwa West local government area of the state.
The two suspects said they strangled her husband, Isaac Odubu to death with one of their gang members, Ifeanyi Enuma, to pave way for them to rape the woman one after the other.
The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ari Mohammed Alli, while parading the suspects along others for various crimes, said the police got wind of the incident and swiftly swung into action, which led to the arrest of the three suspects.
The Police boss said Chukwudi Sunday, Onyebuchi Paul, and Ifeanyi Enuma were working for the couple, but decided to go into the business of internet fraud in their quest for money to buy phones and data, and stormed the house of the couple at night to rob them.
He stated that during the process, they killed the couple, two of the suspects, Chukwudi Sunday and Onyebuchi Paul raped the wife before she finally gave up the ghost.
According to the CP, the suspects will be charged to court upon completion of investigation.
