Kayode Fayemi, a presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC has reacted to claims of betraying the National Leader of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Ekiti State Governor noted that his ambition to run for the presidential seat is to make a difference and not an inheritance to anyone.
Speaking on Channels Television, Fayemi said, “The Asiwaju that I know and have interacted with will not subscribe to demonising anyone. I don’t believe that he would use terminologies like betrayal, this is not an inheritance; it is not a traditional title that we are seeking.
“The office that we are seeking is to make a difference in the lives of Nigerians. It is about Nigeria which is the commonwealth of all Nigerians.”
Recalled that Fayemi officially joined the 2023 Presidential race yesterday.
He made the declaration at the Hilton Hotel, Abuja in company of his wife Erelu Bisi Fayemi, Ekiti APC Governorship aspirant, Biodun Oyebanji, members of the Assembly and traditional rulers.
