Yesterday, I was in Ondo State to consult with my brother Governor and Chairman, South West Governors’ Forum, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, and to seek his counsel ahead of the APC Presidential Primary election.

I also met with the Olowo of Owo, HRM Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye III; the Deji Of Akure, HRM Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi; the Osemawe of Ondo, Oba Victor Ademefun Kiladejo; and the revered Afenifere leader and my former Principal in Christ’s School, Ado Ekiti, Pa Reuben Fasoranti.

For me, leadership is service and sacrifice. It is duty, not an ambition. As I have maintained at different fora, I am not yet an aspirant and my next political move will be based on the outcome of the consultations that I am currently conducting with stakeholders across the country.

May the Lord continue to be my guiding light. Amen.
