Osinubi Damilola, the lady that singer Timaya left hospitalized following a hit and run accident, has spoken out over the incident.
VerityNews reported a week ago that the singer was been accused of attempted murder by the sister of the victim.
She claimed that the singer hit her sister with his vehicle and fled off the scene leaving her in a pool of blood.
A week after the accident, the victim took to her Instagram page to narrate the incident.
She recounted how she driving through Lekki Axis when she saw a green Gwagon driving through a one way traffic.
In an attempt to beat the traffic, Timaya hit her Jeep and fled off until another traffic held him back which gave the lady the opportunity to caution him.
According to her, Timaya used vile words on her because of her gender and was feeding off his celebrity status.
In a move to stop him from leaving, she stood in front of his car and only moved when she thought he had felt remorseful and was ready to see the level of damages he had done to her car.
Unfortunately, Timaya fled off and in the process, he hit her with his car and left her to her fate.
Luckily for her, passerbys came to her rescue and took her to a pharmacy where first aid treatment were administered to her.
Cutting the story short, Osinubi slammed him for painting a wrong picture of the incident to the public.
She demanded justice as she feels the singer isn’t remorseful.
“Timaya Inetimi you are wicked and heartless. You painted your wicked act of hit and run with emotion. Thank God @ijeomadaisy @instablog9ja and others called you out if not you won’t tender apology to your fan. Your conscience will continue to judge you cause you intentionally hit me off with your green G wagon boasting that you are a celebrity, your lawyer came and sympathize with me in general hospital at about 10:30PM and Your lawyer said this is too much for someone to let it slide. The pains you inflicted on me by your recklessness and no respect for womanhood. The permanent scar you inflicted in me intentionally. All I want is justice as he isn’t feeling remorse because he should not go scot free to serve as deterrent for others”.
Recalls that Timaya denied being arrested by the police.
The Dem Mama crooner was reportedly arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly hitting a lady with his car and running away.
A Nigerian lady identified as Osinubi Omowunmi who made the accusation via Instagram, claimed that the incident happened at the Ikate area of Lagos State on Wednesday, and the victim whom she said was her sister was hospitalized.
The spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, confirmed Timaya’s arrest on Thursday saying, “He is being investigated for a case of serious motor accident.”
But in a chat with Punch, Timaya insisted that he wasn’t arrested, but was invited for interrogation only.
He said: “I was invited to the station when I went to the lady’s house to commiserate with her over the incident. I was there as early as 7 am.
“It was when we stepped outside the house that we saw police officers. The reason I went to her house was to show my profound remorse.
“I would have been there yesterday (Wednesday), but I could not make it because I had to attend to something urgently at Ogun State. However, throughout the day, members of my team were with her at the hospital and home till midnight.
“I was never arrested by the police. I was only invited for questioning at the Maroko Police Station. From there, I went to the hospital to see the lady.”
