The leadership crisis rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) further deepened on Tuesday as the National Secretary of the Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), Senator James Akpanudoedehe tendered his resignation.
It will be recalled that the Niger State governor, Alhaji Abubakar Bello, had earlier, on Monday took over the party national Secretariat and pronounced himself as the Acting National Chairman.
He reportedly sworn into office State party Chairmen across the 36 States of the Federation including the Federal Capital Territory.
