Comrade Nuhu Sani Lere, National Secretary of APC Grassroot Youth Organisations has called on political parties to give the youths more opportunities to participate in governance and stop recycling the same old politicians.
“The group he said “wants the youth to be given ample space in the political leadership of the nation from henceforth, and to discourage the unending recycling of old politicians that have not added much value to our development over the years”.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by Comrade Nuhu Sani Lere. The coalition which according to the statement include Civil Society Organisations(CSOs) such as youth organisations, clubs, trade union and others will converge under the auspices of ; “National Grassroot Coalition for Good Governance”, next week ahead of the party’s national Convention.
“Over 60 youths association and other similar organisations have been mobilized and will meet in Abuja on Thursday”.
One of the key element of the meeting is ; “to take a position that will send a signal to parties and their leaders to give youths the chance effective from 2023”.
