Ernest Shonekan, former head of the interim national government, has been laid to rest.
Shonekan, who breathed his last on January 11, was buried in Lagos.
Dignitaries at the state funeral which held at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina, included Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of Lagos; former President Goodluck Jonathan, and Yakubu Gowon, former military head of state, and his wife, Victoria.
Others included Dapo Abiodun, Ogun governor and his Edo counterpart, Godwin Obaseki, and Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation.
