The Paramount Ruler of Gindiri in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State, Charles Mato Dakat, has regained freedom, the Military has revealed.
The latest development was confirmed via a press statement on Friday.
According to the statement, the first class monarch has been reunited with his family.
Dakat was kidnapped from his palace on Sunday at about 1:00am by suspected bandits.
The abductors made demanded N500million ransom on December 28.
But veritynewsonline couldn’t confirm if any ransom was paid before his release.
