Omoyere Sowore, publisher of SaharaReporters, on Thursday alleged that former Kaduna Central senator, Shehu Sani, has reportedly joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The rights activist stated this in a post on his verified Facebook post on Thursday evening.
He, however, failed to cite any source on the alleged defection.
Shehu Sani, also a rights activist was elected as Senator on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2015.
He also seeked a return to the red chamber in 2019 under the platform of the Peoples Redemption Party but lost the election.
Sani is yet to respond to the allegation by Sowore at the time of filing this report.
Sowore’s Facebook post read : “Shehu Sani has reportedly joined the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
ME: “On the left side, there’s nothing right. On the right side, there’s nothing left.”
