Amunike, 4 others shortlisted for Kano Pillars’ top job

The management of Kano Pillars football club has shortlisted six coaches to be screened for the job of Technical Adviser.

Rilwanu Idris Malikawa, the Media Officer of the Club, gave the shortlisted coaches as Busari Hakeem Ishola, Henry Makinwa, Salisu Yusuf, Erol Akay, Emannuel Amunike and Usman Shareef Abdullah.

The media officer explained that the list was drawn from over twenty five coaches that had submitted their application for the post.

Kano Pillars football club had last week announced that only a CAF ‘A’ licensed coach will be employed as the technical adviser of the club for the forthcoming 2021/2022 football season.

Rilwanu Idris Malikawa said that the shortlisted Coaches are expected to arrive Kano on Tuesday, 31st of this month adding that they were to appear before the technical committee of the club for interview on Wednesday 1st September 2021 by ten o’clock in the morning.

Malikawa revealed that the club has made all necessary arrangements for their accommodation and necessary logistics.

He disclosed that the results of the interview would be released immediately by the management of the club.
