A former President of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria (Transcorp) Valentine Ozoigbo has narrowly emerged victorious after the primary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of Anambra state governorship election on Saturday night.
The result yet to be made official by the party has it that Ozigbo scored 62 to closely beat Obiorah Okonkwo who got 58 votes.
Serving Senator Iyom Uche Ekwunife polled 44 votes while Winston Udeh and Dr Godwin Maduka scored 12 and five votes respectively.
