The police in Kano on Friday said they have launched a massive manhunt to rescue a wealthy businessman kidnapped by bandits in his provision store last night.
DSP Haruna Abdullahi Kiyawa, police spokesman in Kano told reporters that the incident occurred at Kore town near Dambatta 60 km north of Kano by 10.30 pm on Thursday.
The police imagemaker revealed that a “team of policemen has been mobilized for possible rescue and arrest of culprits.”
